In this grouping of work I explore the structure (or, in some cases, lack of structure) that defines long-standing friendships. Within social networks there are those that build and reinforce the structure and those that tear it down. By use of illustrative line and personal symbolism I describe each of the trajectories we follow: how we interact, connect, and disconnect over time.
