Being an observer by nature I use my art as a way to illuminate life’s overlooked details. My work is pattern driven and abstract, referencing my experience with painting, fine art photography, and the digital arts.

Inside Day
Today was more of an indoor day.
When I did venture out, I wound my 36 foot warp for a sculpture I'm working on. The sculpture will be a hand dyed wool woven felted mountain that has been cut in thirds revealing the layers of the earth.
I also took some photographs of samples I've woven. The hairy looking weave includes two color ways of a shag rug sample. The black, white & red weave are experiments with creating my own treddling sequences in combination with different tie-ups. The blue & golden one is a honey-comb weave sample where I played with colors.
